It is our strong recommendation that designers specify an IPC slash sheet type for the pcb and not a particular manufacturer and laminate type. This gives the fabricator maximum acceptable latitude when choosing the material for a build and can help significantly to reduce cost.
If there is an explicit reason why a design has to be built with a certain type of material, Sonic Technology will make every effort to comply or suggest an available alternative that matches the performance characteristics of thee laminate that was specified.
